D.F.A.T.
Dryfire, Focus, Adapter, Training This device allows you to use the rifle and optic to dryfire practice in a very small area. With this adapter most scopes focus in the 11-15 feet range, depth of field is about 6”. By increasing your parallax distance you can sometimes increase that focal distance. With proper lighting you can use your scope at maximum magnification. Perfect for in the house, in the garage or a small backyard. Use this device to practice different positions, balance points on the rifle, slung vs unslung, various support bag combinations. I have found the D.F.A.T to be extremely valuable in determining how small I can make my "wobble" with non-prone positions. Usually shooters can get a good idea of their abilities and improvements by dry firing on known "MOA" size targets. |

GEN 2 D.F.A.T.- HD The Gen 2 version of the DFAT has the aperture lens system held within a threaded aluminum sunshade. The glass lens is held in with a threaded retainer. It is possible to remove for cleaning if needed. This design provides a very secure fitment like lenses in a scope.
This is a very precision fit and be careful. You DO NOT want to cross thread your scope or the adapter. (Consult our Excel spread sheet HERE or your scope manufacture for your scope thread pitch/diameter.) Advantages of the 37mm Gen 2, is the smaller diameter allows one DFAT to fit more scopes without any barrel clearance issues. Currently we have adapter rings to allow the NEW 37 D.F.A.T. to fit the following: 27mm, 31mm, 32mm, M32 x 0.6, 34mm, 40mm, 41mm, 42mm, 43mm, 43.5mm, 44mm, 45mm, 46mm, 46.5mm, M47.25x0.6, 48mm, 49mm, 50mm, 51mm, 52mm, 52.5mm, 53mm, 54mm, 55mm (D), VX-40, Mark 5-44mm The 37 DFAT you can use the 55mm to 37 DFAT ring and add other 55 adapter rings. 55mm to: (56mm, 57mm, 57.5mm, 58mm, 59mm, M59.5x0.6, 60mm, 60.5mm, 61mm, 62mm, M62x0.6, 63mm, 64mm, 65mm, VX56) all Gen 2 D.F.A.T.'s include one target pack 55 DFAT-HD or 37 DFAT-HD with thread adapter works with scope bells very close to barrel. These are not scope OD this is the inside thread diameter of your scope/sunshade attachment. Consult your scope manufacture for your scope thread pitch/diameter.) Below is a video of a spinner being shot at. I used on my phone landscape layout to make the spinner small enough to present a challenge. The best learning you can take from this, can you get your gun cycled, leveled and back on target before you miss the first opportunity to hit the spinner the next swing. If you reload I have loaded 10 dummy rounds, no primer no powder and use them to simulate the added friction when chambering a round.
